We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer I with a strong foundation in C++ programming, networking concepts, and an interest in AI technologies to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of high-performance networking and security solutions while working closely with senior engineers.
What You’ll be Working on:
Design, develop, test, and maintain software components using C++.
Implement new features and enhance existing networking applications.
Debug and resolve software defects.
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
Explore and contribute to AI-powered features where applicable.
What you Bring to the Role
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.
1–2 years of software development experience (or strong academic/project experience).
Good programming skills in C++ with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming and data structures.
Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including:
TCP/IP
UDP
DNS
HTTP/HTTPS
Basic socket programming
Familiarity with Linux operating systems and Git.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to multithreading concepts in C++.
Understanding of network security concepts such as firewalls, proxies, VPNs, or SSL/TLS.
Basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning concepts, including experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) or exposure to LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI frameworks through coursework, projects, or internships.
Experience with Python is a plus.
Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
